All merchandise is sourced ethically and at a fair price. Suppliers and customers are our business partners and friends. Items are described to the best of our knowledge. The subject matter is vast and on occasion we may inadvertently make errors. Please ask questions on any listing and buyer research is encouraged.

Local Pickup

• Is available by arrangement in Pukekohe. Please email or call Jamie on 0212415258 to arrange.

• All orders are processed and ready within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

Large / Oversize Items

• Please make contact to arrange the shipping of oversize items.

• Deliveries may be possible in the Auckland / Hamilton region by arrangement.

Domestic Shipping New Zealand

• All orders are processed within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) You will receive an email confirmation when your order has been shipped. 

• We use a range of shipping options including NZ Post, Aramex and Pass the Parcel.

• Shipping costs are displayed at check out with price dependent on the delivery location and size / fragility of the item.

• Combined shipping will be utilized wherever practical. The buyer, vendor and the environment all benefit that way.

International Shipping​

• International shipping to be arranged prior to purchase. Just get in touch and we'll get you a quote. Any taxes and customs requirements / levies associated with international shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.

Returns and Refund Policy

We sell antique and vintage items. They will often exhibit minor marks and imperfections commensurate with age. Old things are timeworn, please expect this when purchasing. We also understand it is not always easy purchasing vintage treasures online. If your purchase on arrival doesn't quite fit your plans or hit the mark in any way simply return it within 7 days for a no questions asked product cost refund. Just get in touch to let us know your plan and send it back. Simple as that. No hassles.

• Returns must be received back at Patina Theory within 7 days of arrival with the customer.

• Returns should be addressed to Patina Theory, 97 Butcher Road, Pukekohe, 2120, New Zealand.

• Returns shipping costs are to be paid by the customer.

• Returns should be sent 'tracked' to ensure transparency for both parties.

• Please ensure returns are well packaged. Any damage in shipping arranged by the customer with a external agent will be managed by the customer.

• Refunds are issued on receipt of returned goods.

• Feel free to use our original packaging to reduce return costs. Just relabel and get it on its way.

 

We will meet all our obligations under NZ trading and consumer laws. We want happy returning customers. If you aren't happy then in our view something has failed so please contact us to give us the opportunity to put things right and improve.
