Second World War RAF issue oversize tea mug. Holds one pint for when a large, stiff brew was the order of the day. These white ironstone mugs were manufactured by a small number of British potteries and were standard issue on WW2 British airbases. Adorned with a beautiful blue RAF logo with the kings crown and AJ Wilkinson stamp to the base. This example has a chip to the rim and base and some staining to the rim but its a survivor. Not many of these still around particularly in NZ.
