A rare WW1 era Australian 9ct gold War Chest pin badge. These were sold in New South Wales to raise money for the war effort. Three War Chest Days were held 1916-1918. Stamped 9ct on the reverse. The pin itself is not gold. Total weight 2.4 grams. Diameter 24mm.
