The late Karl Feoder Sim 1923-2013 was a renowned art forger and is the only person to be convicted of that crime to date in New Zealand. He even changed his name to Carl Feoder Goldie so he could legitimately sign his artwork C F Goldie. This piece in pencil heightened by white is signed Karl Sim. A great piece of art in its own right and a great quirky piece of Kiwiana. Some marks to frame.
