A super rare pair. Antique 19thC Grand Tour, Egyptian Revival bronze castings of the winged sphinx. The candle holders have stunning detail and are heavy and ooze solidity. The bronze has acquired a lovely soft patina. I've searched the internet for a long while and cannot find another pair. Grab yourself a neat piece of decorative history.
